Sengkar is a Great
Pyranees.  He weighs 200 pounds.

Tsering is a mixed breed. His name means "Long Life."

The Humane Society received a report that a dog and her puppies were kept in a trailer without water.  The Human Society rescued the animals and some IU students took the puppies in, but their landlord said they could not keep pets.  When Jigme's wife, Yaling, heard about this, she took pity and gave one of the puppies to Rinpoche who named him "Tsering."  Rinpoche said he wouldn't want to be put to sleep either. (Jigme is Rinpoche's youngest son.)

Nyingkar and Gyalse, Rotweiller twins, were a birthday gift for Rinpoche.  The "boys" make a lot of noise

Drolma means "Mother." She is another Rotweiller.  Drolma is the sweetest of all sentient beings.
