Venerable Tenpa
Tsering was born in Tibet and later traveled to India where he
studied painting for several years in Dharamsala. He joined Drepung
Gomang Monastery in South India in 1986 and since that time he
has been studying philosophy.

Ven. Tenzin Jamyang's artwork
Ven. Tenzin Jamyang, born near Lhasa, Tibet, joined the
Drepung Monastary at age 19. There he studied all 16 classes
of Buddhist Philosophy with Geshe Yonten Dhamchoe and Geshe Tenzin.
He has also studied Traditional Tibetan Religious painting with
Tenpa Choephel, formally of Lasha and now the Master of a large
school of painting in India. Behind him in the photograph you
see some of the work he did in preparation for the Kalachakra
initiation lead by H.H. the Dalai Lama in 1999. You can see this
